32. There are very few people out there that truly care about you, keep them close.

(ink and watercolors)

the ink is supposedly permanent, the box said it was waterproof, when i painted over it, it bled.

11. You should always have someone to say goodnight to.

(acrylics & ink)

I've decided to stop writing irrelevant stories here unless I really have to, they're not necessary.

9. You should really get to know yourself.

(acrylics)

I used to live near a guy that never finished college. He was 32 years old and his mother visited him every other day, she would clean his house, cook for him if he asked her to, do his laundry. He was intelligent, but never really knew what he wanted to do. He went from one job to another hoping "that it would be the one this time" But always quitting after he got tired of it. He never paid mind to what he loved because he said it was a dead end, never noticing the one he was already in.

6. Learn to let things go.

As a child, I remember spending summers at my grandmother's place, my cousin and I would spend most of our time in or near the pool, my grandmother loves plants and her house has a lot of land for her to keep plants. There were these certain plants where small iguanas would live , we would catch them, and they were a nice bright green when we did, but after a while of keeping them the nice green would darken, and dark stripes would show up. If we kept them for long enough they would turn into an ugly dark green, and when we let them go, we would see them a couple of days later, their color back to normal.
